One week of Snowshoe Safari adventure in the heart of the Dolomites, UNESCO - Natural World Heritage. The most beautiful panoramic view will reward you for the challenging ascents with your snow shoes. Stops in typical mountain huts, and the well known hospitality of Alto Adige’s inhabitants, will please you anyway.

Guided snowshoes excursion: Alpe di Siusi – Bullaccia Crossing
Ascent from Compaccio to mountain hut „Arnika“ towards „Goller Kreuz“, further to the viewpoint of the Witches’ benches “Panche delle streghe”. From there you have a breath-taking panoramic view on the Dolomites and up to the glaciers of the Main chain of the Alps. Back to mountain shelter Dibaita, where there will be a lunch-stop.

Guided snowshoes excursion: Alpe di Siusi – Tschapit
From Frommer Inn you walk to Spitzbuehl and go along to mountain hut Possliner. There is a beautiful panoramic view to admire: Sciliar Mountain, Mountain peak Santner and Ortler Alps. Continue to mountain hut Saltner and Punta d’Oro. Lunch stop and relax will be by the mountain hut “Almrosenhütte”. Afterwards you will return to Compaccio – Alpe di Siusi.
Day: Wednesday
Walking time: aprx. 4-5 hours

Guided snowshoes excursion: Alpe di Siusi – Schneiden
Away from ski slopes, you cross the northern side of Alpe di Siusi up to Mountain Inn Dialer (2.145m). There is a magnificent sight over the “Schneiden” to Alpe di Siusi and the Dolomites. The tour continues to mountain shelter Sasso Piatto and Zallinger. After the lunch-stop a sleigh ride to Saltria is expected.
